WTC Area at Night

When I was walking around the World Trade Center, it was late enough that the memorial was closed, and this was as close as I could get to the famous pools.
It was very peaceful without all the people.
I still find it terrifying and sobering to think of the terrible events that took place here.

  3. The events that happened at the WTC will always be remembered much as Pearl Harbor is remembered. Your photos are quiet and dignified.

  4. Your photos are very poignant. Last time I was in NYC I did not make it down to this site. I only saw it from afar. It is terrifying still to think of that horrific day.

  5. It is terrifying to think of and maybe especially in contrast to the peaceful scene that you show here now... we never know!

  6. Lovely shots. A bit eerie to see the empty foundations surrounded by towers of lights.

  7. These are beautiful captures of the Trade Center and the pool. The perspective from which you were shooting was excellent. It is one again a beautiful place. We lost a family member by marriage on that horrible day sho was at work with Canter Fitzgerald. The day is still very alive in my mind. genie
