Portland's Morrison Bridge

For Our World Tuesday and Sunday Bridges, here are my last photos from Portland, Oregon. This is the Morrison Bridge.
If you've been reading my blog for a while you've probably figured out that I'm fascinated with bridges. Unfortunately there aren't many where I live, so I have to photograph them when I'm on vacation.

  5. Lovely photos. I like seeing the over and underside of bridges. We have lots of them in the Vancouver, BC, area. You’ve made me think that cataloguing them would be a fun thing to do should time permit. :))

  8. Brücken sind immer wieder faszinierende Fotomotive. Auch heute zeigst du uns ein interessantes Bauwerk. Diese Brücke scheint nicht sehr hoch zu sein, fahren da auch Schiffe hindurch?

  11. Miss bridges much, as there are a few only here. Once I was asked to build one with Spaghetti, back at the University.
    Please have a good Tuesday.

  12. Portland is definitely the City to be if you are fascinated by bridges! There are quite a few of them. And you photographed this one beautifully. (I don't have a great sense of direction and something about bridges confuses it even more...can't even count the number of times I've been lost in Portland...used to have lots of meetings etc there....)

  17. Ah, but such beautiful photo's. You have to travel a bit and come and see Brunnel's work.. it's right here in the South West of England.
Just keep snapping. Love the photo's :-)

  18. I always get scared driving I5 through Portland, especially heading north. That bridge is so high and open. Not good for someone afraid of heights. - Margy
